| Once upon a time... Hah. I was busy with the forum competition the past few days, so didn't have much time to blog. Either ways, it's just the few people who bothers reading this. Saturday night (Ok thanks, xiaohui...): Dunman Anniversary Dinner! It was the 45th anniversary.. The setting was quite grand, with white tables and chairs, and of course, the usual hosts; MR SIM & MS HANNAH YEO, haha! Ms yeo was seriously a joker.. Some of her jokes didn't even make sense to the old peeves down there. There were performances by quite a few teachers... the most crappiest name coined was B.M.W... Bernard-Melvin-Wei Leong... They sang "ji lang ji pua" One half for each person.. LOL. Sounded quite nice though, and i used mark's phone to grab some footage of it (: we also filmed lam yi chin's cheena performance.. (not much coordination LOL). So there were eight dishes in total and the dessert/drink. Mark the noob was allergic to shellfish so he missed out on three dishes. That was 50 bucks, mind you. And he was ranting about how lucky he was... sure to win the lucky draw - an xbox.. but guess what. So i stole this guy's souvenir cup beside me.. hahaha. OKAY... i didn't exactly steal it.. i asked him for it. Felt like asking the other guy, but then i would seem like some freeloader already. It's a dunman anniversary cup, and got 1 for myself and the other for xiaohui. It's this: So today i went to church: and it was a damn cool play, titled - The Journal. It seemed boring at first, but it was touching when you're absorbed into the plot.. It's about this family, the mum, the dad, and 2 daughters. The grandfather came into the picture later. At first the family was very disjointed, because the father works late and 1 of the daughter is the "lian" kind which stays out until really late. Then they slowly grow further apart until the grandfather comes to stay with them. He helps them and tries to get the family together. It's peppered with tiny humorous conversations, but in all, he teaches them to pray, and stay firm in the Lord. The whole play didnt seem to religious, but it really did bring the message to me. It was touching at times, and i would have to say, a GREAT play in overall. The last play they performed a few months ago was also awesome - The Canvas of Lies. Ok, enough of that, lets move on.
Out of pure randomness: My cousin's cat (: So i went to the food fair too - with a FLAT HANDPHONE (no pun intended because my phone is kinda flat-shaped anyway) I ate katong laksa!! Really cool stuff. I meant hot(spicy). Then we bought this yoghurt smoothie which tastes splendid haha. Okaaay, i think that's virtually all. I'll see if i add anything else soon. Doubt it.
