| Once upon a time...
in retrospect over the past two or three days, it was most enjoyable and fun!

29-30th: Adam Khoo Training

okay actually mark agreed to come with me to this training ( BUT HE DIDNT; SCREW YOU MARK) because we wanna become coaches! cool. like those helpers we saw in dunman adamkhoo workshop last time round. pays not bad at all, in-school programme: $8/hr, primary school kids outdoors (3 day camp) is $170 + $20 for full completion! sounds lucrative... but when i become a certified coach, i will want to help out in the real superkids/i am gifted so are you camps... $400 hahaha. okay but we're expected not to do it for the money. its the passion actually, but i have none of it! i'm only into helping others, not like be a role model etc etc...

during the first day, i went into the room and all i saw was unfamiliar faces, foreign, and feeling alienated. i heard they were mainly sec 4's who finished their O's. man im so outcasted.

*busy&distracted got forced to eat my tea break*

okay where did i stop.. there.
the program was actually the same as what dunman covered last time but they did include pointers when working with kids. for example, you must learn the techniques so that you can show the kids something, or do not let them outsmart you or do it faster than you. Oh and the lamest thing was we had to do forfeits for using the banned words like; i dont know and stuff.. and the punishment was spasms WTF lol. but the cool thing was after that training, my mum had managed to get free tickets to bedtime stories as she was once a coach there as well, and through some links, our whole family could watch it haha. it was moderately funny, little touching and most of all enjoyable! it's an easy plot but (almost) full of fun when things get ironic(?) because it doesnt turn out as how'd you expect. we ate and i reached home AT TEN MINUTES TO TWELVE (not 5 minutes to midnight though.) and i showered and hit the bed straight!! omg exhaustion is really unbearable.

the next day, i set off at 7.55am as usual and reach there 5 minutes earlier, but what the hell. all those kids were already there.. its like the quote from the movie coach carter: training starts at 11, but as of 10.55 you are already late! grrrrumbles. that day was damn funny as you would expect. this trainers name was Jeff Tan Jack Foo!! WTH? is his name JEFF OR JACK?? LOL people even call him TAUFOO(TANFOO) and JACKFRUIT (JACKFOO) hahahaha. even better the hotel staff once called him: Hello, Mr Jeffjack! lol that was hilarious. but through that he conveyed that we do remember extraordinary things.. and oh, thhe 20 word list which i haven't forgotten hahaha. statue, encyclopaedia, crown, hyperbola, etc... on and on.. and we also did speed reading and stuff that we did before..but the hard fact to swallow was that there was going to be a test at the end of the training to see if you qualify for the coach job! O-M-Geeee. the question was like draw any kind of whole brain notes to summarise the whole coach training.. then i was like..wtf? do i draw a mindmap with everything in or do i draw some and write some in point form? But heck, most people were as clueless as me, i rather do something and have something to hand in than to say i give up or whatnot. so at night, after the whole thing, we exchanged email addresses and handphone numbers.. (gosh, i didnt ask the girls for handphone number.. so paiseh LOL) then i proceeded to the chalet where after showering, i dropped dead on the bed again and slept like a pig head until 11am haha.

2009 Countdown Party @ Downtown east D'marquee

The BBQ was fun! okay i admit.. fun because i didnt need to cook anything.. i was busy playing psp and com haha. then we put our stuff down at the chalet. sorry peoples i didnt invite anyone.. thought it would be boring =_=.. my bad. okay then we like went to the tentage area. first thing was.. walao! security was damn tight there. there was the airport that kind of gate, then a full body metal scan.. then my belt kena wth.. then i need to take off my belt!!!!!! ARGGGHHH lucky my pants wont drop LOL.. first thing we got in was like some indian guy singing.. the segments went like this after that...

indian guy..

chen diya! - :o cool she sang songs from liu li yang, and 2 other pple which i forgot..

13 finalists from some random crap shit competition - truth is, they suck

some 4 rappers which suck pretty bad - rapping about downtown east WTF?

then was this english band - which no one gave a HOOT about them.. the lead singer was talking to himself LOL

2 china gals - which sang i dont know what but sounds alright.. wesley was saying one of them looks old.. like an AUNTY omg

The winning band from suria Anugerah - sorry forgot the name; but something FINALLY worth listening to! They sang like wake me up when sep ends, about a girl (WOOO!!!), and some other songs and malay songs.. but they were good!

wu zhong ming! - the one who sang the duet in 心愿便利贴 ! and he's from xing guang bang 2 finalists! heard he's also cao ge's tu di lols. he sang well but u could sense his nervousness hahaha but he did mention after he was damn nervous cause it was his first time in singapore.

best segment so far: gary cao ge! - he sang top picks of his songs and he was like giving away his adidas jacket, balloons with his sig, and the worst was a TOWEL FULL OF HIS SWEAT LIKE ROFL! and some artard took it haha xD it was like only during this segment when everyone started standing up ( i mean it was a damn PARTY but everyone was sitting down) and there were alot of girls and some guys who were big fans of cao ge getting up front. people were filming, snapping pix and many other stuff till u could smell another's sweat and the litter and dirty shit that was on the floor. and then; the BIG COUNTDOWN! it was grand and booming to welcome in the TWO-O-O-NINE!

so to sum it allllllllllllllllll up..............

i wish everyone a splendidly GREAT 2009 and best wishes in the year ahead, in all aspects and endeavours! :D
